PURPOSE:
This simple drill can be used for most age groups. Works on one touch, fast passing and good quality finishing.
SET UP:
6 to 12 players (+ 1 GK)
Use a third of the pitch.
20 Minutes
1 large goal + 5 cones
THE DRILL:
COACHES NOTES:
One Touch Passing - Players should use this drill to weight their passes as if they were doing a one/two. Pass the ball to the next player so they can pass it with their first touch.
Shoot for the corners - Get the strikers to strike to the corners. Make sure strikers use both feet.
Fitness - The recovery run from the striker to the back of the line should be at 100%!
PROGRESSION:
Add a defender in the box.

Starting Shape 1: 1 player on each cone with the rest behind the back cone
In play 2: #1 strikes on goal. The other players follow their passes and move down a cone. Play starts as soon as the player in front is set so it is continuous.
